If you have a snowboarder aged 9 and under, this is the program for them. Recognizing the unique needs of younger snowboarders, based on the snowboard LTAD (long term athlete development) the goal of this program is to build on the FUNdamentals of snowboarding and athletic movement. Young snowboarders will work on building skills and having fun, encouraging them to be passionate about being active!
Sessions start on Sunday January 10, 2010 and run for 10 weeks. (No program on Family Day). We meet at 10:00 am in the village base, ride until 11:30, have lunch and ride again until 2 pm. This means your little boarder will have some free time after to show you what they have learned.

This program is for beginner riders age 10+ who are looking for skill development on the big mountain terrain. Skill ability required is to be able to turn comfortably without falling too often. This program offers 10 Sundays at Sunshine. The fee covers coaching plus an ASA membership. This program is great for riders who take the bus from Calgary or the Bow Valley. Sessions start on Sunday January 10, 2010 and run for 10 weeks. (No program on Family Day).
Meet your coaches at 10:00 at the Gondola, ride until 3:15 and have time to get down to catch the bus in the parking lot!!
Fee: $450.00 (When Volunteering is Fulfilled)

This program is for accomplished riders young and old and any non-FIS competitors who enjoy the big mountain terrain but chose to compete occasionally or not at all. This program offers 15 Sundays plus 1 COP night (approximately 14 evenings), 3 day Christmas Camp and a competitive ASA membership. Additional training and occasional event coaching is an optional add on.
Fee $1200.00 (When Volunteering is Fulfilled Includes ASA Memberships)

This program is for accomplished riders young and old and any non-FIS competitors who enjoy the big mountain terrain but chose to compete occasionally or not at all. This program offers 15 Sundays plus 2 COP training nights (approximately 28 evenings) , 3 day Christmas Camp and a competitive ASA membership. Additional training and occasional event coaching is an optional add on.

This program is for experienced riders, 15 and up, who are competing on the Alberta Snowboard circuit and want to compete provincially as well as nationally, including Alberta Cup Series and NorAm’s. The program fee includes FIS license, CAIP Insurance and ASA membership, fall dryland training, early season Saturday coaching, Christmas training, and high performance race coaching at the Alberta Cup Race Series, and local NorAm’s. Also, an initial race deposit is included but more deposits will be required.
Fee: $4000.00 which includes a $1000 race deposit (When Volunteering is Fullfilled)
